This is a very nice hotel. Mauro and I were initially planning to hold the dinner reception here for our wedding, however, with the availability of a garden reception, we decided to hold it in Fernbrook Gardens.

Makati Shangri-la is opposite Manila Peninsula where Mauro stayed in his first trip to Manila. The place is a bit unforgettable to us because we had a fancy dinner in one of Shangri-la's restaurant and ordered one of their finest wine, not thinking of how much cash we had since all I had back then was just my cigarrettes and lipstick! It turned out so funny since we were both worried. It came to a point on deciding who will have to go back to our hotel room in Peninsula to get cash. When we got the bill, we just have the right amount of money on hand! it was still enough that we still managed to have a drink in Hard Rock!

Have not tried it but it is located within the malls of Glorietta! It is a good place if you want the shops in arm's length.
