The Boracay Party is a extended wedding party and New Year celebration.

There are a lot of information about Boracay (or Boracay Island) at Boracay Online Travel Guide, Visit Boracay, and Boracay Resorts. These are the popular sites to gather information.

Manila to Caticlan via Asian Spirit or by South East Asian Airlines is about 35 - 50 minutes.

Another 10-15 minutes from the Airport to Boracay Island by boat.

Let us quote from Boracay The Island Travel Guide Book:

This is a place of refuge, a world of its own, situated amid shady palm trees and a variety of beautiful plants. It's a resort, too, of course, containing a house and cottages carefully built of wood and bamboo in the native style. Skirted by verandas, the cottages all look out on the courtyard garden where superb orchids grow. It is a friendly resort for the budget-minded, and popular among backpackers.

Mauro and I have booked a hotel for ten people who have initially confirmed with us.

This is where we are going to stay for our 5-day Boracay Trip!

Not trying to sell nor market the hotel, allow us to write what was written to the Boracay Guide Book we bought during our Manila Holiday last July:

"This is a very spacious resort, featuring a large beachside area with a nicely designed swimming pool, a restaurant with good food, and a bar. The rooms are not the usual arrangement and are furnished with some traditional Philippine pieces. The resort includes a carefully landscaped park and small museum, the "Tirol Heritage Center."
